“Es de Lope” translates loosely into “It’s Fantastic.”
I’m a 20-something currently living in Cambridge, working in fundraising for a Hospital in downtown Boston. I graduated from college in the spring of 2008, with a degree in Child Development and Theatre. In my spare time, I run marathons and cook.
I’ve always been a design lover from afar, so thought this could be an opportunity to collect images of and thoughts on things that catch my eye. Although I in no way pretend to be an expert on fashion, interior decorating, or design in general, I hope this can be my way of honing my point of view, and simply a way to enjoy all things “fantastic”!
I spend any time that I can traveling to Madrid, Spain, where my parents are currently stationed with the Foreign Service. Having grown up with a very close extended family of 40 (no, not http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duggar_Family), it’s been quite the challenge having one of my main support networks so far away. I hope I can capture a bit of what life is like there – the good, the bad, the ugly, and the lope.
Besos!

Hi, nice to meet you !
Just came across your blog! As a specialist in early modern Spanish history, as someone who lived in Madrid for almost two years, and as a runner training for my second marathon, I love it!
Great minds think alike! Very cool, and wishing you best of luck in your training!
