This might be perfect.

Felicity

I still remember the excitement I had every time my mom’s subscription to In Style magazine would arrive. I’d always grab it immediately from the mail, and devour every page (until she’d decide she wanted to actually read it). Remember this spread? I think this was by far my favorite series they ever featured in the magazine – having grown up on Felicity (and Dawson’s Creek - not-so-embarrassingly enough, I’m still obsessed), I adore Keri Russell’s softer look, with loose waves, and relaxed androgynous clothes – plus, how gorgeous are those chunky knits she rocks?

Lurve, Loave, Luff

I finally got around to re-watching Annie Hall this past weekend, and now, may have to add it to my list of favorite movies. Additionally, I’m positively smitten with this “Lurve Loave Luff” poster by Mike Oncley (you might say I lurve it). Where would one want to hang such a sweet print? Any thoughts, mis amores?

Vanity Trays

I often wonder what girl hasn’t seen (and been totally enamored by) Emily Schuman’s apartment on the much beloved Cupcakes and Cashmere. If you didn’t fall in love with her through her blog, her Apartment Therapy House Tour will BLOW you out of the water. I love her homey and refined aesthetic. One look which I’ve found incredibly inspirational is Schuman’s use of bedside vanity trays – I hope to find a way to somehow integrate these into my bedroom design (not only do they remind me of a hotel, but also could help keep my tendency for clutter in order). Which one’s are your favorites of the above my lovelies?

Fashion Goals

This spring, I think I will dress like this, with extra points for wearing cool fish necklaces. I also can’t stop swooning over this outfit:

It’s so refreshing to see people wearing not-skinny jeans.

Fashion Love

Oh goodness – how simply darling is this LBD from My Favorite Vintage? It totally reminds me of something Audrey Hepburn would wear. I’d wear it with nude pumps and lots of silver jewelry.

Michael Neff

I first learned of photographer Michael Neff through Cup of Jo. I always will trust her judgement when it comes to photos, so was curious to look into Neff. His flying series is incredibly evocative, and I think captures that feeling of taking a long journey, sitting on a runway, and just dying to exit the aircraft. These shots in many ways remind me of what it feels like flying into Barajas and looking out the window to see those first images of the sun rising over Madrid.

Up!

On March 5th, the National Geographic Channel wrapped their shoot for a series that will air this fall, How Hard Can it Be.

For this shoot, National Geographic, along with a team of scientists, engineers and 2 world-class balloon pilots, successfully launched a 16′X16′X18′ tall house into the air for nearly an hour. It flew to almost 10,000 feet (over 10 stories tall!).

My roommate this past fall, dressed as the old man from Up! for Halloween, so I thought this was a particularly fitting post.

Art Obsessions

I’ve recently developed an artist sized crush on Berlin artist, Christoph Niemann (also, his posts for the NYTimes never cease to slay me – he SLAYS me people). I particularly love this print “Eating Together” and would love hanging it in my kitchen next to the sink. The Rabbi in the picture makes me giggle.

Travel Fantasy

Lovelies, let’s take a trip, shall we? (And not just to Madrid) – this time I’m thinking we’ll sail to the A’jia Hotel in Turkey, sit and drink hot espressos while overlooking the Bosphorous sea.
